Was pretty much the same thing I do all the time. My innate response to sitting and listening to people talk, even if I'm enjoying myself, seems to be to draw monsters. Other people sitting around me were taking notes. I suspect we were all continuing to do what we were used to doing in that sort of situation during school. Apologies for the scans on some of these, some of it is from graphite smearing on the paper, some of it is that my sketchbook isn't entirely flat on my scanner if I'm trying to get an entire page, and the rest is just my scanner being special. I think it might be starting to die, or at least get sickly, which would really suck as I can't afford to be without one for any length of time.
Anyways, the bottom one is a goat. Not sure about the top one.
It has a beak, so it must be a bird.
This was drawn during the panel about war in sf/f, and my thought process was literally "They're talking about war so I should draw something happy, like bunnies." Um.
