Takes place the evening of the press conference -- after Jean sees this article, but before the next morning's phone conversation with Scott
The X-Corp contingent in Brussels had used its connections -- connections belonging to Dazzler, of all people -- to co-opt several floors of a hotel in the center of the city for a temporary headquarters. Jean had asked Rachel to see to a few e-mails, and twenty minutes later, the younger Grey seemed to have taken on the position of communications director. That was a lot to take on, and when Jean stormed into the room with a printout of the wire article in one hand, Rachel was typing and trying to talk on two phones at once. Jean waved the paper and pointed at the phones.
{Tell them it can wait,} she said into Rachel's mind. {We need to talk.}
