Fandom Pays Off
I know I said I wouldn't blog about JoCo for a while, and I won't. This post's about Paul and Storm.
I made a small cardboard coffin filled with six plushie chicken nuggets inspired by their song Nugget Man. I brought them with me to the show at Lestat's. I just thought it would be cool to get a couple of pics with them and the nuggets. So after the show I went up to them, and as soon as they spotted the coffin, their faces lit up. They both gave me some really wonderful complements, and Storm scurried off to go get the camera. He came back and took a picture of me showing off the nuggets, and then they both posed with and signed the coffin. This was quite possibly the high point in a night full of awesomeness.
Today I find out that (at least in their estimations) I have redefined awesome. I literally squeaked when I saw this. It's so rewarding to be a fan of such fantastic guys.
