4th Edition GET!
So, my amazon order for 4th ed core came monday. Pouring over the rules, my first impression is it is NOT at all like old school D&D. I say IT IS ABOUT TIME! They finnaly made it playable. No more vancian magic system, no more wasting time waiting to heal. It lends itself to a much more cinematic playstyle, where the rules don't get in the way of exposition and fun. I really think they did a good job streamlining the game. I'll hold judgement till I can get a group to play it, and then put a game together and DM it, but first impression is good.
