Stargate SG-1

I thought of something random while staring at SG-1 the other day.

With the SG-1 team explaining to countless civilizations that their god(s) aren't real gods, I wonder when/if they'll ever find out that earth's "God" is in reality the Asgard or something. Guess it'll never happen though. Would trample too many toes and make em lose too many watchers I'm sure :)

In a way it's a typical representation of humanity. They can laugh at other cultures and tell them their god(s) aren't real or aren't true gods. But as soon as their own religion gets touched they go bonkers, as if they have any more proof of their god's existance than other religions. And I know it's all about faith, but that doesn't mean you can't show a little respect when other people choose to believe something different.

People are funny.

And so is the song I'm listening to. Sir Mix Alot rocks :D
