[if it was another person he barely knows then he really would mind but well, they have this in common so... even if it's not a comfortable subject for him he does feel some sense of obligation to answer.]

Aside from Alice there was only one other that I've talked to.

Some people go through their entire lives without listening to others at all, so I think if she "usually" listens to you then you're doing well.
