[Accidental Video]

[There's a blur of motion and pages as the journal falls through the air and lands on the ground, a leather book bag and some other notebooks landing nearby. Within the camera's view is Ginia, holding a bag of groceries, backed against a building, and watching something (or somethings) calmly out of view. With care, she slowly ( Read more... )

Sounds more like a shift. Tell the non-combatants to stay inside, and if you need to help getting to anyone, drop me a line.

So this is one of those experiments I've been hearing so much about? Lovely.

I'll do my best. After I'm properly equipped I'm going to begin patrolling and helping out where I can.

It's got all the markings of it, in any case.

Nice to have you on board Ginia.

Does this mean I can consider myself a proper Lucetian now?

Just doing what's right, Captain.

After a Draft too, yes.

That's still more than many of the people here.

Earning my wings.

Don't be so quick to discount them. Different beliefs and values, doesn't make them any more wrong or right. Still, I suppose this is a good way to see where people's true colors are and how people react in a chaotic situation.

Hah, for what they're worth anyway. They're mostly just a nuisance.

It's not the beliefs I care about, it's the actions.

Took a day to get used to sitting in chairs with them. Still a bit strange to think about, but I'm getting used to them.

Actions speak stronger than words, right. Few things worse than a person that's all talk.

Yeah, it was ages before I could deal with wearing my jacket over them. Still annoying.

Of course.

I had slits cut into my coat. Not too bad. Had more to adjust with in sparring.

((ooc: Oops, forgot to check last time, but can we assume Ginia is sending in reports every two weeks and if something does happen, she can contact him via appointment post or PM?))

I thought of that, but I can't do that to my jacket. They're a little helpful in sparring, as long as you can remember to keep them protected. Adds more balance I find.

[[ooc: Absolutely, which is just as well because I'm often late with my FLists... =\]]

Personal keepsake? That I've discovered. They aren't very heavy either. At the least it provides another weak point to attack.

((ooc; Okay, cool. And it happens.))

In my world this jacket is my police badge. It says who I am and that I work justice.

Right, if you ever do get drafted, make sure to protect your wings the most, that's what the assailants or third party are after.

I can respect that.

Noted. At the same time, targeting the wings of the third party is a viable option.

Question, sir. Have you been drafted before? If so, may I ask you questions about it?

Thanks.

Yes to all three, though I'm not sure how much help I'll be. What's on your mind?

I've been told you can request whatever you need for the draft, but I'm assuming there are limitations. Still, what kind of weaponry or armor can one request? Also how organized are these fights? Are plans drafted out or does everyone fend for themselves?
