Ginia Solana's life growing up was normal by all accounts. She had two caring older siblings, their family ran a very successful bar, and she was strongly involved with the local dance and theatre company like her mother and siblings. The fact she was born mute was a small sidenote that didn't stop her from enjoying life in addition to the fact her hometown was a hotbed for bounty hunters, hitmen, members of the Irish mob, and other freelancers and gun for hires.
When she was sixteen, her brother became a bounty hunter to help out the family.
When she was twenty-two, her brother's actions resulted in the torture and murder of her family.
Led to believe she was the only member of her family left alive, something in her snapped. A second personality developed, a very angry and violent side that lashed out of everyone and everything. This second personality, named Alice, was eventually tempered down into a guard, a defense mechanism that was only activated under severe stress.
Upon her release from the hospital, she was taken in by friends, both very successful bounty hunters. Despite their best efforts to keep her away, the pull was inevitable and eventually Ginia began receiving training as a hunter.
Seven years later, Ginia's a successful hunter and vigilante in her own right, using her profession to ensure whatever happened to her doesn't happen to anyone else.

Spinning off from her canon, Ginia is approached by the CIA with a job; kidnap the French Ambassador's wife (actually a wanted assassin) while they're visiting New York City on vacation. Under the promise of her background being wiped clean and any charges against her dropped, she accepts and sets off for New York. There, she befriends the nanny of the Ambassador's children (Emmy Lefevre) and begins to work as her piano accompanist.
Emmy eventually hooks Ginia up with a bodyguard, Jean Petersen, in the Ambassador's service and with a new way in, Ginia begins charming and seducing the man.
What she didn't count on was Emmy's boyfriend being her older brother. Family always throws a wrench in things.

Recently moved to Washington D.C., Ginia is trying to manage a catastrophe in the form of hungry stray cats left by a friend when her neighbor, Tom Hettrick (fix_ur_comp), offers a hand. After chasing off all the cats, the two get to chatting and Tom offers to set up her internet for her and she offers to cook him dinner as payment. That night the two get to chatting and realize they have several things in common (a love for music, dancing, science fiction and fantasy) and make a connection.
On their second date, after a night of passionate ballroom dancing, Ginia goes back to his apartment for the after party and after it comes out she's a bounty hunter, he hires her as a bodyguard and she accepts.

This version has Ginia working as a point man instead of a bounty hunter. After the murder of her family and drawn to the world of dreams through her therapy, she teams up with Erika, an extractor, and becomes her point man.
The two work together for three years before one day Erika is killed by a sniper. Ginia goes into hiding for a few months, comes close to losing herself entirely in limbo, then pulls herself together and creates a new team with Cynthia (extractor), Evan (forger), and later Lucian (architect). After Lucian's death, Cynthia leaves and Evan and Ginia stay together as a pair and piece together a new team.
She is unaware her brother is alive and working as a forger.
After an accidental encounter with Saito and subsequent employment by Proclus Global, Ginia pieces together a new team to carry out his work.

Who was responsible wasn't really important nor even why. All that was known was Ginia was kidnapped, extracted upon, and her history as a point man erased. Given a new ID, scraps of her life, and some money, she was deposited in Salzburg, Austria and left to live out a peaceful life as Nicole Jensen.
Five years later, all that changes when she crosses paths with Lamè.
