on the other hand, i can smell bbq-ed sotong ( i think it's sotong) up here, 19 storeys above. diffusion indeed. (it's diffusion right? forgive me if my science is as blur as sotongs are thought to be)
makes me think of bbq-ed marshmellows and i need to stop thinking of such random things.
lit socratic seminar tomorrow, i'm one-quartered prepared and i think i need to re-read the whole thing again (why is ours so much longer than the previous group's? AND cheem-er. OKAY i shan't be calculative here) to understand it. i can't...decipher all the slangs. eg.
"..It is a scandalous thing as a man can't even come home to his dinner! If it's crozzled up to a cinder i don't see why I should care. Past his very door he goes to a public-house, and here I sit with his dinner waiting for him --"
and, there's a lot of this kind:

' an' 'e said, 'Go on, Ah shanna be but a'ef a minnit,' so we com'n ter th' bottom, me an' Bowers, thinkin' as 'e wor just behint, an' 'ud come up i' the' next bantle--"
i think i can only sort of get the vague meaning of it. -.- :(
