Isa's Birthday
Everyone best wish my beloved a Happy Birthday! Right now! ;)
Updates: The job front still sucks. I went and applied at an Italian Restaurant for a cook position, and a promising ad in Sunday's paper came to my attention. It seems that the Youth Correctional Facility in Portland is looking for a cook. Now, this is cool cause it would be VERY similar to my cooking experiences I believe... but even better, that's the place my sister works, and she'd be more than happy to put in a good word for me. :) I'm sending out that application today... I best at least get an interview, and I can't imagine a lot of people wanting to cook at a correctional facility.
It's also a state job, which means awesome benefits. Anyway... it's the most exciting prospect I've had in awhile... I'll have my sis keep an ear out for how things are going from the inside. ;p
In other news... rrrrrmmmmm... I'm not sure I have much. I've been slacking on the writing, and I'll get back to posting the next four chapters I at least have done. I've started up the third Shannara book, the one I remember the least, and have found it's not as bad as I thought. It just wasn't as memorable as the first two, since the 'big evil' doesn't seem as big or evil. ;p
