The end... has come
What can I say, but that today my team and I left our hearts out on the baseball field. We played one of our best games all year. But it came down to the bottom of the last inning, with 2 outs, and we just couldn't get it done. Not anyone's fault. We win as a team, we lose as a team.
Since this was the last game I will play with these seniors, i wanna give them a little recognition.
Marty, you pitched the best game I have ever seen you pitch, and I respect your efforts so much this season. I must say I am honored to have caught for you. And actually, I look forward to legion.
Swiss, you are an amazing pitcher and you started to become real fired up this year. yea swiss... but I will be playing with you on legion too... so well rock that shit.
PJ, you are an amzing athlete with incredible skill, and you made this season probably the best it could have ever been. You are an exceptional player, leader, and athlete on the field. Again, I am honored to have stepped onto the same feild as you.
Jer, you came back from not playing last year and did an awsome job at 3rd base. You were a great asset to the team and you are a great baseball player. Great luck to you in college, and thank you for making our season great.
Pete, great season. You hit the ball hard all season, played great in the outfield, and you were a great leader on and off the feild. Best of luck to you at Elon, and thanks for making the season a blast.
Finally, Simon. Simon, you may not have had the chance to show all of it, you truly were a great ballplayer. You made this season great, and I was honored, as I was with all of you seniors, to play with you.
Thank you seniors for making my season and the rest of the teams season one of the best that Wootton has ever seen. I can't express the gratitude I have for you all. I was honored, and next year were gonna F S up.
To the team, I just want to say, that we had an awsome year. Our record does the talking, and making it to the semi-finals and beating Damascus for 6 2/3 of a game, showed true heart, and dedication. You all were great, and no matter what I said, or did otherwise, you all are great players and I was honored to be on your team.
Until next year guys, just wait. All the way baby.
Right now, I am at a low. Realizing that our season is over, and that these seniors are gone, and now just noticing that that will be me next year, in my last game ever at Wootton, really bums me out. I must say that today, was just... i don't know what it was. But it wasn't good.
I would like to express my gratitude to all the fans that came out and watched us play. Thank you so much, i truly appreciate you all coming out. Thank you for all of you fans that have been here all season, cheering us on, and helping us win. Thank you to the ones that came out to support us although you couldnt make it to previous ones. Thanks. You helped us stay in this game.
I guess I'll snap back at some point and time.
