Can anyone shed some light on this dream?

I don't generally remember my dreams, but when I do they are very odd and they tend to have significant detail. Anyway last night I dreamt that my daughters and I were in a different country. The country was at war with a neighboring country. Everyone that we were with were friends, we knew them all, but I don't know who any of these people are in real life. The county that we were visiting had these gargoyle statue type things near most public buildings. They were all brightly coloured fish, the same fish just all painted differently. *I feel that this fish has some special meaning, but am unable to find a picture of the fish online, nothing that even resembles it* We manage to come up with a plan that will get rid of the enemy, unfortunenately it will get rid of us as well. We lour the counrty into our territory and as soon as they arrive our land will explode. There isn't enough time to get everyone out of the counrty though, so it will mean ending all of our lives as well. Most of us are all just gathered around in this square, downtown type area. Then all of a sudden I remember a building a few blocks down has a sub-basement with many pools in it. So we get as many people as we can to the building. As we are running to the building I turn and see the bombs exploding and the giant fish shattering and flying through the air. I know that we haven't gotten everyone in the sub-basement but the ones that are there we start telling to use the pools. I know that the pools will relax them, they are meditation pools or something. There were many small pools, but not with normal chlorine water in them, just clear out of the faucet water filled them. People start going into the pools and entering into a deep meditative state. My oldest daughter, some of my friends and I decide that we are going to go up and look out the windows to see what is going on. Where we were we couldn't see or hear anything. Somewhere along the way my daughter and I got separated from my friends. We were in a house instead of the building, a very familiar house, like we had lived there for years. We were trying to get as much food and supplies as we could gather to bring back to the building where everyone was hiding. I was filling a cantene with water when a woman approached us and said "If you can keep your mouth shut I will help you." She was one of the enemy. That's when I woke up.

I really would like to know what the fish was. What significance it has. The way the fish was displayed was the fish met you eye to eye as you passed it on the street, it was laying on it's belly with it's tail arched up almost over it's head. Each of the fish was the same like I said before, but they all had different brightly colored patterns on them.

The pools too, if you could maybe shed some light on that. Is there such a place that would have a room full of separate small pools large enough for maybe two or three people to lay in. They were all floor level, so you had to step down into them. And the water was clear. I don't know for sure if the people were falling into a deep meditative state or if they were dying once they got into the pools. We had to really encourage the people to get into the pools. If it was meditation then they wouldn't have to be persuaded. Some of the people got in right away, but there were many that were very reluctant.

I don't know... Sorry to ramble, I'm just very confused by the dream.
