It's been an uneventful day. Most of my days are relatively uneventful. However, today was uneventful and peaceful. The sunlight and the breezes and the birds singing outside my windows. Madeline is sick with a cold and is lounging on the sofa downstairs watching tv and drinking lots of fluids and so my daily chores were accomplished with extreme ease.

I've also discovered that if you want a damn tasty salad that it needs to be topped with steak.
