Journal Purging
So I've noticed upon looking at this journal that it's, well, dead, and also on a different note, that I'm not too fond of the work I've been posting here and my use of the journal in general. So I'm purging all the nastiness out. I'm also going to broaden this journal from its previous use, which was, almost in its entirety, slash. Not that I suddenly don't like slash, or will stop writing it. But I've realized that none of my other writing (orignal fiction, poetry, etc) has been represented. Therefore, I hope to clean up this journal and become, hopefully, more involved in the LJ scene.
On a similarly related topic, I've also noticed that I've become obsessed, as fans are ought to do. I'm realized in my writing that I can hardly put down a character that isn't A) female and whiny, B) female and bitchy, C) male and gay, or D) male and appears to be gay. This has become a problem. Maybe it's because I'm been so engrossed with the slash scene that women characters no longer become natural to me. So, thus, I need to set out on a mission to find good fanfiction that isn't dependent on the relationship between two male charactes (either slash or friend-based). I need to get engrossed in some good female-oriented writing. If anyone has suggestions, let me know.
