Green thumb?... or touch of death?

Looks like I am becoming a gardener/landscaper or whatever. The other day I ordered plants for the yard. Today, having the day to myself, I transplanted a tree, replaced a shrub that had died and planted some flowers. What's next?

Oh...I've been watching gardening shows on the PBS Create channel as well.
