I wasn't able to get to the shop yesterday so I picked up this week's comics on my way in to work this morning. Got both Final Crisis and Secret Invasion. I have to say that FC has been getting better while SI is more disappointing each issue. I didn't have much money budgeted this week for books but I added one new title. The preview of G.I.Joe from IDW. Hey it was only a buck. And it was good. I'm glad the writers are being given the chance to start over fresh and ignore all the stuff that's gone before, picking the characters they want to use and giving things a new spin. There is a small controversy and I want to add my own thoughts on it.
Roadblock is Roadblock. Not Heavy Duty. I don't care if Heavy Duty is the character they are using in the movie, don't stick his name on another character. If they want to use his name use him. Personally I'd rather see Roadblock, called that, than Heavy Duty. He's a more interesting character by far. That's all I want to say about it. Moving on.
