Got the yang, waiting for the ying
Couldn't sleep and lots to do today so I got into the lab just before 6h00. Ordinarily I'd say that means I can leave as of 18h00 because of my 'try to only work 12 hours a day' policy, but I don't think this will be one of those days.
You know there are many times when I find my co-workers frustrating. No real fault of theirs, just the normal friction between people plus an occasional dash of cultural differences. However, at this hour of the morning, when the guys who are hear have been working hard all night, I can't help but think they look less like their individual selves and more just like tired men. I think it gives them an added humanness in my eyes.
Finally I think I figured out why we all secretely love picking at our scabs: It has all the pleasures of nose-picking, but you get to watch
