And so it begins - Snowflake Challenge, Day 1
In your own space, talk about your Happy Place - the things that give you joy, calm you or keep you sane.
In RL, spending time with dear friends I rarely get to see brings me great joy and happiness. My best girlfriends and I live far apart, so those moments we spend together are precious. We talk, we drink tea, we bead, we go for sushi - and then we look forward, eagerly, to the next time we will have together.
In fandom space - I read. I read and read and read, and I am so grateful to the many fannish writers and artists who pour their love and passion for their various fandoms into these artistic endeavours. They invest their time and creative energies, and I get to lose myself and escape the dreary, the mundane, the overwhelming moments of my life in these beautiful, creative works.
Yeah, man. Fandom fucking rocks - because it's comprised of all these amazingly talented fans and I am in awe and full of gratitude for them every, single day.
