Snowflake Challenge 2018 - Day 12 / HP Fic: Family Secrets, PG
Whoa, in the home stretch!
Day 12
In your own space, create a fanwork. Make a podfic, an icon, a sketch, a meta, or a rec list. Arts and crafts. Cross stitch. Draft an essay about a particular medium. Put together a picspam or a fanmix. Write a review of book you love, a ship manifesto, a you-should-be-listening-to-this-band essay. Create something. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
I actually feel like I kinda did this the other day, when I wrote Lily's Lullaby. It wasn't exactly written for Snowflake, but participating in Snowflake is what got me motivated to sign up for
trope_bingo, which is what inspired me to write the Lullaby. And then
lunabee34 made a comment about it. And it turned into a discussion that led to a fic. I blame her entirely, BTW. So yeah, basically, this is my Snowflake fanwork.

Trope Bingo Fill: CHARACTER IN DISTRESS
Teaser: 'He'd expected to be sad, but in that happy way that came from filling in missing pieces, the same as every other time he'd learned something new about his family. Harry hadn't expected that, almost a year after defeating him, Voldemort would still be able to strike from the grave and take yet something else away from him.'
