So, I hadn't touched my beads for a while before Conflikt because I've been so busy.
Thing is, once I get going, I get in a groove and don't want to stop.
I made a cuff style wrap bracelet at the con. This is my favourite design; I like wraps in general, but I think the cuffs really suit me and they are a bit of a challenge, and so are more fun to make. This cuff is made of picture jasper, agate, faceted citrine and some dark green stone that I think might be serpentine or something like it.
So I'm working on another one now, but I felt the need for some beer. So I tried something I had not seen before at the BCLC. I wonder if it was named by the Firefly fan? In any case, it surely lives up to the name, cuz whoa - dark!
Question is - will whatever I make be better or worse due to the beer? I suppose there's only one way to find out.
The new one is moss agate and citrine - I wasn't sure they would play nicely together, but I like it so far.
And this beer is dark and rich and tasty.
