Last night boss sez: Hey Shad go find out this information.
Shad goes to find out the information by emailing the people who would most likely have the information, because that is how you find things out, right?

Shad presents information to boss this morning, who then sez: Hey, don't talk to those people without asking me first. They don't want so many people from our office emailing them all the time. You were supposed to find that info, and I could have asked those people myself.
