Well f*ck. Current status: shit happens. Oi.
The day had a decent beginning. Got to the con, met up with everyone at the 11:00 am panel. Afterwards, pavaneofstars, grammarwoman, ailurophile6 and mercury973 decided to go downtown for a japadog. I was in the mood for chinese, so hipapheralkus and I decided to go to OnOn wonton.
We didn't quite make it out of the parkade. Right as we were going around the corner, something went CRUNCH and my car decided that it wasn't going anywhere else. I directed traffic around the blind corner for the next 45 minutes while waiting for hotel security or someone to show up. Finally they did. Am currently waiting for a tow truck while the lovely mercury973 keeps me company.
Eh. Well, for me the con is about hanging out with friends, and that is what I am doing, so it's not all bad.
