But right now, I'm at work.
Twitter is being twitterpaited and I can't maintain a connection. Of course, that could be an internal thing as they are jostling things about with out servers in preparation to shut the VBC site down. Who the hell knows.
I'm getting 2 cases an hour done right now. My give a damn is busted.
I'm clearly not alone - half the people here are in tech issues or run time error system disconnect or whatever. Cleaning out desks. playing farm town on Facebook. Holy crap, everyone is playing farm town, WTF? Even my team lead. It's pretty hysterical.
I brought Rodney to work with me. He's pretty popular.
It's weird - there is such a sense of anticipation and excitement here, even though we're all losing our jobs - we've had a chance to get used to the idea, so it's not so scary as it was.
I still have no job to go to, but I've got some severance coming, I can go on UI if I have to. I'll be okay for at least a couple months before I have to worry about rent.
Today we try to work - but tomorrow, we party!
