I feel like I must say something since I am the only one who chose to comment and also has some form of melonin in their skin. The only reason why u agree to racial profiling is because u never been a victim of it. DO you know how demeaning it is to be stopped and automatically suspected of a crime just because of your religous ideals or the way you look. In plain english its just wrong. If your gonna start racial profiling arabs and muslims then white men need to be racially profiled at every abortion clinic and federal building. Ehhem oklahoma city bombing, centinaial olympic park bombings, and all of the random bombings at abortion clinic by radical CHRISTIANS!! yeah. SO obviously America needs to start thinking about all the terrorist that we raise and harbor in our own land before passing all the blame onto arabs and muslims. Oh, and dont forget about the innocent guy in London that was shot and killed after the bombings there just because he fit some obscure profile, thats just not right.

You know, you have a point, shevette. We can't just implement racial profiling as a complete program for monitoring terrorism. Like in Algiers, terrorists can find holes in the system. And you're right. Fundamentalists everywhere, including Christians, blow shit up because they are morons. The only major difference is that in the Qu'uran, not in the Bible, does it say that, "So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush" (The Immunity, Chapter 9.5). And only Islamic fundamentalists, not Christians, have threatened terrorist attacks on the United States. And only Islamic fundamentalist were involved in 9/11. Okay, I respect your opinion, and I know that you do hold your opinions rather strongly. I'm glad that you were at least able to provide some evidence to back up your thoughts too. Most people can't even supply that dignity in their response. However, I want to point out some inaccuracies in your comments, and hopefully help you and everyone else understand my point better. As is always the case, I couldn't supply every reason I support the policy, but thanks to your heads-up help, I can now try to add some more reasons. But first, to correct the problems with what you wrote. I'll try to go in order

-As for the Jewish thing, I can't argue that most of us look white, and therefore can avoid some profiling, some of the time. It's obviously harder for a minority whose skin is colored to do the same. But there are still characteristics that make it tougher to avoid such profiling. Jews have big noses, that seems to be widely known. Last names like Goldman, Steinbaum and Freedman don't give it away either. Why do you think so many actors and entertainers have had to change their names to get into the business? Just looking white doesn't always solve everyone's problems, you know. Jews have had it plenty tough in the past, we just managed to overcome our obstacles, work hard and perservere. Mostly because we didn't complain and just put our heads down and worked. So don't tell me that being Jewish doesn't result in singling out. Quite frankly, that's a load of crap
