Late Night

Mar 25, 2009 02:04

Late night/early morning again. I really have no purpose being up this late, but what the hell. This week so far has been extremely miserable, from Graves being more bitchy than I thought possible to the new update of Fairy Tail being so clichely sentimental. I'm starting to move back to the Hard Rock/Metal stations on Pandora from my amazing Kansas Radio. I really like Tool, their live performances are amazing.

Today's essay on The Sun Also Rises was probably some of the most bs writing I've pulled off this year. On the side note, I despise/fail at acting, as demonstrated in our Modernism Project filming.

Rome Total War Europa Barborurum is giving me more information on Ancient History than will ever be on Quiz Bowl. I am thoroughly enjoying my history lessons as I smash the Gauls with my Roman legions. Although the fact that they nerfed cavalry still is a pet peeve of mine.

I've procrastinated so much on so many different stuff. People who bother reading this, should I apply to YSP? I still don't know if I want to go even if I did get accepted, but I guess back-up is back-up? And my god where am I going to find a tux =P.. Next week should be a frenzy of activity.. Quiz Bowl saturday, PGA (?) on Sunday, SIMR results on Thursday, finalize YSP on Friday, Prom on Saturday. Hm.

I have a bio test on the different animal phylas on Thursday and a chem test on thermochem and electrochem on Friday. Thermochem is quite simple, but I have to take a look at electrochem before I can make an accurate statement. Although I recall hating whatever electrochem we did last year in Fendell.

I think I got a 5 on CAML today. 6 if they decide to be lenient on the last question, where I wrote the answer in decimal form. I hope they don't rechange the rules for BC Calc so that it's back to being top 30% of each class. Graves would never send me to BC quote: "you're the type of person that falls through the cracks of BC Calculus"

The Macedon-Roman War is surprsingly more in-depth and fascinating than I expected. King Pyrrhus (totally unrelated) is such fail.

Where is my article I wonder. I must fix it before this weekend. CoughYvonneDebraCough.

And why were the members of my late night chat group not on today D=

Studying Cnidarians and echinoderms reminded me of Osci. Sea cucumbers. Comb jellies=/=cnidaria. Comb jellies=ctenophores.

I think reading As I Lay Dying is making me write in stream of consciousness style.

I'm mastering the art of falling asleep in the middle of a convo for 3-4 minutes then randomly waking up.

I wish I could meet NaDa. I wish I was good at Starcraft. I wish I wasn't such a slacker.

I wish.

i wish.
