I am weird, thank god
I cannot stand people who only like music that is 'hard.' The sound has to be hard and angry and loud in order for it to be 'good,' and if a band that was once hard starts to get a softer sound... that band suddenly 'sucks.' That is the lamest, most annoying thing I've ever heard. Bands, like people, (hopefully) change.
Or people who happen to be musicians think a song sounds too 'simple' - like something they played when they were 'twelve.' All of the sudden that means that the song sucks. Since when did complicated = automatically good? Since when did simple = automatically crap?
Fuck people. Ignorant, close minded sons of bitches. I never look at them like they are crazy for the things they like (even if inside I think that), I am cool with their opinions even if I dun agree with them. But I'm automatically looked at as weird for liking more than one genre of music. I am different, I do not categorize myself, therefore I am a weird fuck.
