There are no perfect plans because we are not perfect people.
Exciting Events in my life:
1. I bought new shampoo and conditioner. It's Herbal Essences which was something I've wanted since I was little. The kind is "None of your Frizzness" or something. So cute.
2. Working on getting into CNU. I know it doesn't seem like it should be work for me, but I'm still scared out of my mind. Tonight, I went to look at the application again to see if my essay was off-topic. It wasn't, but now I'm worried that I canceled my old application by starting a new one.
3. I meet someone. I never meet anyone on my own. This is no exception. I've seen him at church recently and wanted to know more about him. I mentioned this to Mom. I pointed him out on Wednesday, and Mom introduces herself and then I walk up and she introduces me. Today, we're sitting in church and Pastor Ford calls forward the ushers to hand out the guest packets to the first-time visitors. Alice sees the guy walk up the aisle to pass them out and automatically thinks "There goes Nancy's husband." Odd, I know. Believe me, I'm not jumping to any conclusions. Mom invites him to eat lunch with us during the potluck (today was New Town UMC's 7th anniversary celebration) and Alice promptly gets flirty. I'm feeling pretty passive about this whole thing, though, so I guess I'm okay.
4. I have an ortho appt tomorrow. I think I might do some alternating colors. Maybe blue and silver for CNU. Maybe green and gold for W&M. Who knows?
5. I bought a book and two CD's at work the other night. Book: Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. CD's: Arriving by Chris Tomlin and The Face of Love by Sanctus Real. I really love to buy books. I've bought a few recently. I want to clear space on the shelf in my room to put books on it. Right now, it's covered in stuffed animals and various junk. Books, for the most part, deserve space on a shelf, more that stuffed animals do anyway.
