OH. I LOVE. I LOVE SO MUCH.

This is probably going to be totally incoherent given that I've just got back from doing the Rian family Christmas, but here I go anyway. I love it. I love that all four of them are in it, and Lily too in the end. I love Sirius' rough start and how he and James meet, and how Remus knows everything and beats him up and that they're just such boys about things. I laughed at quite a few things, but I absolutely laughed my ass off at this exchange:

"You're such a plonker," says James cheerily, perching on the left corner of the bed and ignoring Sirius's feet battering his ankles.

"I know you are, but what am I?" answers Sirius.

"A plonker."

"I know you are, but what am I?"

"A plonker."

"I know you are, but what am I?"

"I will actually kill you both if you answer that, Potter," says Remus from the bathroom...

I'm laughing now just reading it back, I swear. It's just so right for teenage boys. I love that Sirius gets more and more obsessed and then there's kissing and pushing against walls in empty ( ... )

Oh this is lovely! I loved the progression in this, from Sirius being utterly alone, to befriending James and Remus and Peter, his slowly growing realization of loving Remus, through the Prank and the ending. I like how you leave the ending open too. Very nice!

I'm afraid my love of open endings will get me in trouble some day, but I'm glad it worked this time. Thank you so much!

This is so nice. It got a little bit of everything, it makes me laugh and there's nothing like awkward, up-against-a-wall teenage boy desperation in abandoned classrooms to make a girl happy.

It always works for me too. Thank you so much!

This is spectacular. I love how Sirius starts out completely convinced he's in the wrong place, and then ends up exactly where he belongs. Wonderful.

Oh no, my not-so super secret theme has been discovered! Honestly though, I'm glad it was clear what I was trying to do. Thank you very much.

(And double thank yous for the rec!)

Oh, this is exactly how it happened and I don't think anyone could convince me it isn't. I love how Sirius rejects being a Gryffindor at first and comes to conclusions about Remus before he even knows it's Remus. Heh.

You just hit all the pain and wonder and boy of their time at school. Brilliant!
