Um, hi, all! I'm a newbie here, and a bit nervous; this is my first post. I was invited to join after Anna Karenina and Other Cheerful Fiction; I finished this one this week and thought I'd put it here.

Thanks for inviting me; I hope you enjoy.

Oh, that was lovely. I especially love that Sirius wants to break out of heaven, and that James is the one who figures out how to do it.

Oh, thank you! I really liked that line, if I do say so myself. :) Only James; it was nice to have James and Sirius working on a project together again, and with Lily, too.

Anyway, thank you so much for the feedback!

Thanks loads for the feedback!

I know . . . poor, poor Remus. He is so much about the angst; I doubt he'd ever have a huge outpouring of emotion, though if anyone is due, it's Remus.

Anyway, thanks again!

I put together a packet of R/S stories recced yesterday, as I often do, and yours was last. I'm so glad it was because it's a nicely angsty one but has that rare thing -- a truly hopeful ending, which, believe me, after reading the others I was well ready for.

Being a Remus Gal, his parts were my favorite, but all of it worked really well. I loved how you used Lily and James to say something about death and completion but also let them retain their connection to Sirius enough to help him find a way back.

Oh, thank you so much for the lovely feedback.

I just. Well, I love Remus/Sirius, and it looks like Remus will be denied a happy ending in canon, so I couldn't resist helping him out, if only a little.

And thanks for commenting about Lily and James. It made my day. :)

Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback.

If I do say so myself, I always liked the "I walked" line; it came to me early, and seemed so like Sirius; not one for public transportation, him. :)

Anyway, thank you again!
