Well, I'm back at school and back in Louisville. I apologize for the lack of updates over the break, but I was busy break-ing and really don't feel to bad about not updating. Since I didn't update, though, here is a quick summary of my break.
- Left school on December 12th, and went to Tuscaloosa - spent awhile there with Jessica
- After awhile was over, went to Calera to spend some time with her family and practice (since my Mom lives in an apartment, I can't practice there, and it's a fairly long round-trip from her apt. to a practice location).
- Jessica and I went to my family's Christmas party in ATL. Much fun was had seeing family, and I am really really really happy she was able to go (I think some of my relatives forgot about her since she's been unable to come to some family events recentely).
- My mom came over to the Litwiniec's house for Christmas Eve dinner, as did Teresa - it was also much fun, and then Jessica, Teresa, one of Jessica's sisters Lauren, and I went to Midnight Mass.
- Stayed with my mom on Christmas day, opened presents - Jessica came over for a great lunch and then I went back over to Calera for Christmas dinner.
- Went to Louisville to pay some bills, then went down to Tuscaloosa, then back to Calera.
- Celebrated New Years in Calera, stayed up till about 3, playing pool.
- Did nothing but lounge around and practice until this past Sunday, when I drove up to Louisville for school, which began yesterday.
My schedule is fairly easy, although I will be doing a bunch of research/writing. My independant study will require 3 seperate papers, and my recital will require program notes for all of the pieces. So that will be some work, but it's not one big research paper or anything, so I'm not too worried, but I will be busy practicing/researching/writing.
My other classes are horn lessons, orchestra, my grad. recital MARCH 29 AT 7PM EASTERN, and a brass quintet lit. class, which hopefully won't be to bad.
But I must cook dinner now, so this update will have to suffice for now.
