weekend
I spent the weekend in Maryland. Last week my cousin was having his graduation party, so my parents went down for that, and they left my brother there.
I haven't been there in ages, so Liz and I went along this weekend to pick him up. It was a 12 hour drive. The Friday night attempt was a little rough, and we required all 4 drivers.
We were pretty close to Ocean City, so we made Saturday a beach day. It was an amazing beach. Just awesome sand stretching out as far as the eye can see, and killer waves the whole time. Nice day, good company, tasty fries and funnel cake, and overall good times.
Sunday was a bit pointless with some shopping (Delaware is a short drive away, and they have no tax) and experiencing a drive back from shopping in crazy tornado-warning weather (the streets were like rivers).
Monday was a brutal drive home as we left a little late, kept getting later, and hit a 3 hour wait at the border. Got into the house at 4 AM. UGH.
