- kick-ass dinner at Mike and Anita's plus much wine

- grocery shopping in preparation for guests
- Iai-do practice for demonstration on Sunday
- various activities with Denise and Adeem (our guests, newly engaged!):
- mini-golf
- ice cream (Marble Slab is pretty tasty, and not unreasonably expensive with 2 for 1 coupons)
- Rock Band
- Greek Food Festival! (delicious)
- Rock Band
- eventually, sleep
Sunday:
- karate tournament: demonstration went well, I won my kata category, and I won my kumite category (though I got my face beat in by a Scottish brawler)
- Morty's with Liz for a celebration lunch
- ISIS at The Phoenix with Zack, Ethan and Jake (excellent show)
