So after spending the day pissed off that I hadn't got any good music listening at home in a while, I went to the basement, found an album on my hard drive (Mastodon - Remission), fired it up along with Quake Live.
FUCK YEAH.
A combination full of win.
If only my fucking DVD drive worked so I could put in other CDs and rip them.
Quake Live actually looks better on my crusty old PC rather than my laptop (though my laptop has more horsepower, my old PC has the better video card). It totally reminds me of my Quake 2 days.
For quiet living room playing while Liz worked on her presentation, I've moved on to World of Goo, which is amazing and I'd recommend to anyone. It was $5 over the weekend, but now I see it was totally worth the original $20 price.
