weekend
Friday:
- crazy work day
- took short break from work, went to Long and McQuade:
- .. grabbed a useful little Boss BCB-30 pedal box
- .. also set out equipment for Nimesh to rent for the cruise
- came back to work (UGH), stayed late, solved problem
Saturday:
- got guitar gear ready, went to rent something I forgot at L&M, found out Nimesh showed up on Friday at 8:59 PM (L&M closes at 9:00 PM)
- got ready to go to Toronto
- sat in the car too long since Caribana traffic was slow
- to great annoyance to us all, had to drop off drums at cruise ship
- chilled in hotel for too short a time
- went to cruise ship, saw sea of Bengalis waiting to board
- cruise was fun, ENTERTAINMENT WAS SO POORLY ORGANIZED THAT I DIDN'T EVEN GET A CHANCE TO PLAY GUITAR DEFEATING THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF THE STRESSFUL ORGANIZATION BEFORE AND DURING THE CRUISE
- other than that, cruise was neat
Sunday:
- woke up, was super tired
- went to wedding at Sagan: cool style (mixed marriage: Gujarati groom, Filipino bride), good lunch
- went home to rest
- went back for reception: loved it, got great ideas for the wedding, heartwarming speeches, good food (which is important since we want Sagan to cater our wedding), good dance
Monday:
- woke up late
- went to Subway, HMV (Liz got Lego Star Wars for GameCube, I got the new Silverchair CD)
- played Lego Star Wars: was much fun
- watched several episodes of Green Wing with Liz
