Gosh it's bright in my new cube - seriously - the lights are blinding me. They are starting to give me a headache they are so bad. And I can't really do anything about it since they are overhead.... or could I...... slingshot anyone?
Otherwise, day is going well. Many people have complemented my new use of the cube and how 'neat' it is (meaning the other lady was messy, but they never could say anything cause she'd been here forever). Anyhoo, last night I signed all the paperwork and I am now an employee of the YMCA as a fitness instructor. Got my fancy badge and all. Got a brief intro on how to work all the equipment, mike, stereo, etc. Better yet, there was a cute employee guy named Chuck (poor name, darn) who I was talking to about personal training while I was waiting for my new manager to arrive :):):) He worked at the front desk so I will hopefully see him often!
