(no subject)
First of all - ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwww!!!! I just came back from my walk at lunch and felt something crawling on me - it was some creepy looking beetle thing - eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!! Whew! Killed.
On to more pleasant news - this past weekend was AWESOME!!!!!!! I was a little apprehensive at first, not really knowing if this was what I wanted to spend my well-earned $300 on, but it was certainly well worth it. The people were so nice and the instructor was GREAT (cute, a New Zealand accent, but married)... btw - we now have a place to take dance lessons if we want to - I was working with the owners of a dance studio - fun!..... ( side note - I'm still feeling creepy crawlies on me eeeeeeeeee!!!......) ANYHOO, it was a grueling training and I am still sore, but oh so worth it. Once I submit my tape I will be a certified BodyPump instructor :):):):):):) I am even more excited because this is really something that I enjoy doing and could see myself doing a LOT in the near future :) I know, the rest of you think I am a sick person, but I really do LOVE this stuff!
Let's see, after the training on Saturday I was pooped. All I did was go out to dinner w/Maryann & Chad, then went home to bed. Sunday was good - nice weather for a while. Christa & I took my retarded dog for a walk then went to see Madagascar. As she said, not as funny as hyped, but still some cute parts. Yes, I agree the David Schwimmer character was the best, then the odd Indian/Jamaican king guy, and the wierd penguins had a few funny moments, otherwise there really wasn't much of a story. Did they want to stay in the wild, did they want to go home?? It wasn't too clear which they preferred. Anyways, it was still cute.
Today (other than the bug) is really nice out. I am busy as hell now that the other lady has retired. It is sad that she is gone, but I will not miss her whistling! Oh, and I saw some people playing soccer today - apparently they play pick-up games on Mon & Wed - Yay! I get to play soccer again :)
