Back to Reality
Ahhh, back in Minnesota..... crappy Minnesota. j/k I love this place, but it is a far cry from anyplace I just was at. I wanna be back on the boat, sailing to nowhere, lying in the sun sipping juice, getting tan, listening to music, and viweing Colin Ferrell look-a-like all day long. Ho-hum. So much to tell, so little time! I will link pictures once I figure out how to do that.
Where to start! So much fun to cover... let's see... boat was amazingly huge, Tulum, Mexico was really hot and I got sick on the ferry ride after sitting next to a nice large woman from Missouri (the one and only time I got sick though!), sitting in hammocks till sunset, dancing to live music on the balcony deck. Laying in the sun for hours on end listening to live bands. Grand Cayman was beautiful in spite of hurricane damage, cool limestone beaches, hot Colin Ferrel boy on the beach, good shopping, lots of waiting in line, great food. Jamaica was gorgeous, Dunn River Falls climbing, offered to go jet-skiing then smelling some 'funky' cigarrette coming from the driver and moved away quickly, cab driver haggeling, carving a pineapple with a machete, rum. Formal nights dressing up, going to karoke, Las Vegas shows, comedy nights, Irish bar with hot piano guy who played 'Caroline!' by Outkast, Colin Ferrell guy again, rocking to the boat and the liquor, orgasmic pizza, quotes of the day which we can only remember like 2, Keith & Rosie and Broderick & John, and getting any/all Bob Marley songs stuck in head for days.
I wanna go back!!!!!!!!!!! *Wimper* right now we would be just getting up and going to find lawn chairs to lie/sleep on for the next 6 hours and occasionally going for a swim in the pool. *Sigh* We are thinking in a few years going on a Royal Carribean cruise - the gay guys at our table told us they have way better food and not as annoying of announcers/m.c's. Getting back to reality really sucks!!! I caught a cold in the Miami airport and it sucks being sick and having to be back at work at the same time, grrrr. I need something to make this job more fun -- any suggestions? Eww, my face is peeling - stupid dry Minnesota weather. Well, I know this entry probably made no sense to anyone except me, Maryann, and Dawn (none of which have accounts, so they can't read it anyways), but I will soon meet up with the rest of you to fill you in on details.
