My friend Andy and I have had sort of a running competition when it comes to horror flicks. We both get a kick out of disturbing the other person with some sick obscure find.
Andy so far is ahead.. "Shatterdead" and "Lucky" the latter of which I bailed out on.
And so now I have come forth with my find... Odishon or in english Audition
But I fear this time Ive gone too far and I may be in over my head.
Do a little research if you will and look up the Japanese film "Audition" you probably wont have to look far to see how utterly twisted this movie is(especially if you are a single male)
I havent watched it yet because I didnt order it yet. But I will.
Now Ive watched a few Japanese horror flicks "The Grudge" "Suicide Club" "Ringu"
And I can safely say they are light years ahead of American cinema in terms of disturbing imagery and atmosphere. Well Im ordering the Un-cut version of "Odishon" on Friday, so let me know if there are any takers.
