I've been pondering my views on relationships and my "love life" as a whole lately.
I've never felt the need for a girlfriend, but it's always been a pleasant thought in my mind. I still have yet to have a girlfriend, or an actual kiss for that matter. This is obviously a result of my views and beliefs about "love". I don't want to go out with a girl just because she's "hot".
I don't want a relationship built solely on physical attraction.
I want something meaningful, something real.
I want love.
For some reason I'm often met with people disproving that kind of belief as a fairy tale, or unrealistic. Though I don't see why it can't happen, and I guess I just keep telling myself that.
Though sometimes I can't help but wonder how my life would be if I was a little more loose with that whole subject. Maybe I'd be more outgoing. I'd be more appealing to people, or wouldn't come off as so lame. Maybe I would have more of a social life. Maybe I'd be more confident and flirtatious. Maybe I'd be getting laid and hooking up with beautiful women all the time.
Then I stop and realize I don't give a fuck about all that. What I care about are relevant, meaningful moments in life. I like that I have views and beliefs like this, cause it seems like not too many people do now a days in our society. I don't want to throw away this idea of ideal love.
So I suppose I'll just keep going through life until that girl comes along and twists away.
word.
