Its been quite a good weekend. Although I decided to brave the shops on Saturday, the Christmas shopping still hasn't been started......I am so uninspired. Sam wants a mobile phone which I am not keen on buying. We have 5 mobiles in the house already, but she wants a video phone. I have five weeks to try to steer her in another direction. Last year was the great dragon hunt - everything she got was dragon-related. Far, far easier. The little ones want everything that is advertised on the TV - they have so many toys already, I object to buying them more. No 1 son wants PS2 games and books (and I am determined to count this Berlin trip as part of his Christmas).
Sam played at the Samoa game today. She was much more relaxed about it this time (and so was I). Scotland won - hooray! So there's just the embarassing game against New Zealand, where Scotland shall probably be royally beaten, to look forward to. At least there will be a huge crowd next weekend - the atmosphere when they play "Flower of Scotland" shall be electric. I am hoping that I'm called on as back-up driver - I so want to go to that game!
