Yes, blah, blah indeed...

My stupid eye.... The erosion has healed over for the moment, and now I have developed a lump right in the centre of my bottom eyelid - right in my line of vision. I have to laugh!
It is Walk to School Week here. For years we have been moaning about the state of the traffic round our Primary School - this year they have done something about it. People drive too fast, they park on the pavements, they stop in the middle of the road to let their kids out - standard school-run stuff. Last week road painters turned up and painted double-yellow lines along the road the school is on and for about 100 yards along the three roads surrounding it - therefore, no parking allowed near the school! The general point of view was that everyone would ignore the new restrictions - and a few did - they were greeted by the sight of 2 police officers a traffic warden and our local councillor. Its been hilarious because the first day they are not there the cars shall be back! Anyway, I am sick of walking now, I always walk my daughter to school but I usually drive my son to nursery, which I haven't been doing. By the time I walk home from dropping him off, its nearly time to go back and get him. This was me who didn't drive for 5 years as well! (Had a very small accident when I was pregnant with Saffy and lost my nerve - used to have panic attacks if I tried to drive) Its only a week and I am determined to do it, because even though I am a lazy mare - I believe in it!
The adverts for the new series of Stargate have started - it starts next Tuesday. I have to say, I am not really looking forward to this one, but I'll give it chance. I dont know anything about the episodes (apart from Vala being in some of them, which I couldn't care less about) so I'll go in with an open mind. Lost is on tonight which I am much more excited about. Me and the elder two are addicted to it and I let them stay up to watch the new episodes on E4, which is very naughty. Adam likes Locke (sp?) and Hurley, and Sam likes Charlie. As for me, well I suppose its kinda obvious who I like - I loved his episode! So all in all - with the second part of Lost City, the final episode of the Apprentice (the American one) and the new episode of Lost, I've got my night planned out for me.... All I need now is for hubby to come home and say he wants to watch some football!
