*giggles* I just made an entry in my own blog on this as well! I'm more than 10 years OLDER than you...does that make you feel any younger? *winks*

I subscribe to my paternal grandmother's way of thinking. She would always tell us, "The longest day I live, I'll never be old!" Way to go grandma! :D

Although I prefer the term, "old broad", thank you, at 49 years and counting, I'm in. :) Will there be cake at the meetings? :)

I don't feel old, I like being in my 30's. I'm such a big kid, I honestly don't think I'll ever act my age. My son often tells me how 'cool' I am...usually when I'm sat on the PS2 playing football with him. I refuse to become a sterotype. I got my tatoo and lip pierced when I turned 30 and the kids loved it (it still pains me that I had to take my piercing out). As the old saying goes..."you're as young as you feel" , and I certainly feel alot younger than 34. :D

I suppose there's the sterotype of message boards as the refuge of tech-saavy 12-year-olds ( ... )

Yeah - my mother-in-law was surfing the internet before me and she's in her 60's.

I hope I dont make you feel really young......

Naw, not so much. I don't mind feeling young though; it's just interesting getting to speak with people of different ages and life experiences than I would normally encounter in RL :p.

Dang, I miss my edit button. I realized after it was too late to delete and repost that I not only made an error in parallelism but also spelled 'savvy' wrong. [Insert embarrassed smiley here.]

I turned 34 earlier this year... and you know, surprisingly, I'm really enjoying being in my thirties. Ok... maybe it's not so surprising. I'm more comfortable about my own skin than I did in my twenties and I feel very blessed to be able to do what I do. GW really opened up a whole new avenue of expression for me. I'm really glad for that opportunity.

My father turns 64 this year... and he's the original gadget man. Last year when he went to Indonesia, he sent me a text message asking after my daughter. It took me a while to decipher his message and I blurted out after a while saying, "Oh, it's from Dad..." My colleague overheard and said,"Your father knows how to send text messages?!" Dad has always been into technology... he has more high tech stuff in his home than we do... He carries a PDA that has photo-taking capabilities as well as a mobile phone. It's got word processing, email and several translations of the Bible on it. Yup... he's the original geek before the word became common parlance.
