Complications

Had a visit to the dentist today because my mum wanted a clean-up on my teeth (they're absolutely dirty from the dentist's POV) and ask if it's okay for me to put braces.

IT'S A LOT MORE COMPLICATED THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE.

1. I have 2 missing teeth on the lower. ie. gaps between the 1st and the 3rd.
2. Due to the missing teeth, the 3rd teeth

Just tightened my braces tdy :x Can't eat properly for a few days urgh D:

Haha I had 2 extractions on my upper row cos I have bucktooth lolol,
then now there is this rubber+metal wire thing pulling the teeth back to slowly close the gap ):

Oh! So they will put that rubber+metal wire thing to close the extractions la? So don't have hole?

Cos normally will have the metal wire thing liao, then they got put this rubber thingy to make the hole close faster (& hurt more:x).

Yup the hole will get smaller, then when the hole is gone, your teeth shld be straight alrdy :D

I still find it weird that the teeth can shift places in gums o.o

I don't know if I should do it next year or not.. Because got O's and stuff

Hmm if you make next year, I would recommend you to make during June holidays cos the 1st 2 weeks of braces is horrible until cannot concentrate during lessons hahaha.

My mother say after CNY because I can eat all the junk food. But then you also got a point there..

Haha actually braces isn't painful but it makes your mouth feels super sore, can't bite anything... Cos once they put the braces, your teeth will start to move to adjust to it, so it feels like they are going to drop anytime ): And will also salivate like crazy hahaha.

Aiyah after the 1st two weeks then shld be okay le :D

Okay, the feeling sounds weird. But when they want to close the gap is about one or two years later right?
