Summer 2007 had many plans that were pre-made in order to make things a little less messy, cause everyone knows that the grade 11 year did enough damage and made enough mess as it is. We all knew that summer was the event to just vacuum every inch of unwanted dirt. Little did i know that problems ( such as dirt ) always just come and go. Its a never ending battle that people fight. Whether its against themselves, family, strangers, enemies or even friends. There's just always problems, big and small, that will always find a way to sneak back into your life. But, if you were unaware, ill let you in on a little secret: there's a solution to every problem ! if you try hard enough you'll overcome it just before the intensity of too much stress turns you into a mad man.
I've seen the monster within every person whom i have labelled a friend and an enemy. Truth be told, their rage and hatred towards (insert noun here) is mind boggling. There are so many different ways of handling hatred. (But if you're easy to persuade, there's never a right way of handling hatred.) I speak confidently when i claim that the majority of us all are guilty of this hell risen emotion. Some handle it by constantly venting towards others, and speaking badly of others... but when the time comes, every word, every action, and every emotion is denied. the "fake" of it all is honestly the definition of acting immature and cowardly.
There are so many rules and regulations, laws and by-laws that we as citizens have to follow. I dont believe that this should be officially written on a plague or it should be permanently part of a constitution, but rather a part of personal courtesy and etiquette. Just like, "please" and "thank you" people should be able to have the courtesy of:
1. not only telling your side of the story to make you look good. With only one part of a story, the picture of it all is just a blur. If you believe that telling you're side will make your character much more superior to someone else's you're wrong. you'll only make your image sharper, not bigger. Sharper isnt necessarily a good thing, if you truly are the big bad wolf in the story, when your image is sharpened, the audience will know and see the true "ugly" that lies within.
2. In general, to stop thinking that your life can possibly be superior to another. If you constantly thrive to be better than someone else, then obviously, you couldn't make your envy towards their life anymore obvious. As a human, you should count your blessings instead of trying to make sure you have more than someone else.
3. Holding grudges is an option, letting it consume your morals and letting it get in the way of seeing someone's true self is just plain ridiculous. Things that are over are done... so its just a matter of getting over it. There's doesn't always have to be a victor and a loser. But if there is, the victor is just the player that can still hold his head high even after admitting defeat.
4. If you believe that ridiculing others is what makes you look like the king or queen of the day, your wrong. you're merely the jester of the 15 minutes you get in the spotlight. after the show, your back to just another person walking down the streets. I assure you that every life has its positive qualities and pointing out someones imperfections will not make you any special.
i'm just trying to rid the problems that are suppose to be dealt with and left in kindergarten. i am not trying to aim for a worry-free world. The imperfection of our world is what makes it so perfect. The imperfection is the beauty of it all.
take note:
i am not suggesting that i am not guilty of this devilish temptation because i am.
Its just a realization that ive come up with... if you wish to believe in it... so be it.
but truth be told, its a lesson we all have to learn sooner or later.
