Call to Glencorse

No sooner has Dani hung up with Pete than she's dialing Glencorse. As soon as they pick up, she says

"This is Dani Moonstar. Caine, or next closest thing. Swordsman-dark forest."

It's a moment before the operator patches her through, and it's not Caine, but Stuart who comes on.

"Dani? Caine's not available right now."

"Alisandre."

Dani's clearly breathing a sigh of relief at the familiar voice. She pauses a moment to think about what precisely she wants to say.

"Blink is unaccounted for. Wisdom's been made aware. He'll be all right if we find her soon. If not, you need to bring him home."

Sandy is quiet for a moment, and when she speaks again, her voice low enough for Dani to hear other voices in the background, she sounds both troubled and distracted.

"I'd known about Clarice, but--no, never mind. Understood. I'll pass that along to Caine as soon as he's free. Hopefully she'll be found soon and it won't be necessary."

Dani listens to what she can of the conversation in the background, but there isn't much. The concern in Sandy's voice is more evident.

"I'll be dropping into Dream as soon as I can." As soon as she and Tetherblood figure out the mess in the T-O lab and she casts him a sidelong glance while she talks. "Do you...If there's anything you want help with or want us to know but don't want to trust to the phone, I can find you there?"
