I woke up and went to church for the second performance of our Christmas play. I think this time went a little better than Wednesday night, as they talked a little louder so you could actually hear them. But the girls pulled a mini-mutiny against me and were refusing to sing. So I got them to do it anyway by compromising and leaving off a second verse that they didn't know so well. Someone actually came up and got saved this morning. I was so proud. And afterward we all got $10 gift cards to Wal-Mart.
When we got home we opened presents with Karlie opening all of hers first. It was just me, Mom, Dad and Karlie. I feel like I did rather well, considering how much Mom went on about there not being many gifts this year as we are poor and such. (well I knew that) I got a hand made teddy bear, a green scarf and glove set, some nail polish and chapstick, random lotion and nail stuff, candy (swedish fish!yay!), two pairs of earrings, and two green hats (one basebal style and one fisherman style). Oh, and one of those big tins with popcorn in it, with Disney Characters on it. EEYORE!!
After that I went up to my other Granny's house house. There weren't many people there this year. Usually there are more on this side of the family than the other side. (around 80) But Mamaw (who is really my aunt) got us all presents. I got one of those purses that everyone has, with all the big sequins on it, and a box of candy. My little cousin then made me go with her to my aunts house so I could try on a pair of pants she got that didnt fit her. They fit me =). $40 pants. Bwhaha! Mine! And I finally saw some of the Charlie and the Chocolate factory movie, about the first 30 mins or so. <3 Johhny Depp.
I also discoved my little cousins are growing up to be quite perverted. I never talked about such things when I was that age. But I didn't figure out where babies came from till I was 12. I'm sheltered.
Well, I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas (or whatever holiday you happen to celebrate).
(Peace on earth. Don't Worry, Be happy. Make love not war. And all that jazz.)
