It was the thing I missed the most when I was juggling multiple jobs and grad school. Now that I just have one "normal" job, it is my biggest time luxury.

Well, see I like to write in my spare time. I try to read as much as possible since people always say reading helps you become a better writer and you might as well learn from people who have already proven themselves.

I wish that I had a set schedule with my job, sometimes I will get home as late as 9 pm and that sucks!

What kind of things do you write?

I try to frontload a lot of reading to the first part of the year so I can take a break and write during NaNoWriMo each year. That's why I'm reading so many post-apocalyptic books lately, because I want to write on those themes in November.

It seems, though, that if someone were going to benefit from reading a lot, there should be a middle step, like reflection.
