88. Naked by David Sedaris (291 pgs)
I have been wanting to read Sedaris for a long time but would forget at the library. I decided to pick up this one to zip through after reading my historical fiction. I love autobiographies for so many reasons, but the strange little stories people tell has to be one of the big ones. And Sedaris, he has some strange little stories! I am going to run to the library tomorrow and get some of his other books. Woo!
So for my Library Materials for Adults class, I have to give a book talk. Which of these sounds like an interesting topic?
Alternate Realities
Retellings of history (thinking of The Red Tent, etc)
Living Vicariously (travel fiction)
I also thought about doing autobiographies, but I have such quirky tastes I'm not sure I'd get a broad enough picture....
