Soooo hope this all works out..
So my work has this stoopid way of giving out vacation time.
All the employees in the warehouse have to submit any and all time off they want FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR before January 31st. It's "bidding" time for vacation, if you will... First of all who's gonna have their ENTIRE year planned out to the day and second...well the first is just so ridiculous to me that I can't even think of a second, but I digress...
Anywho, of course not everyone's gonna have their time off submitted by the 31st so that's when it closes and they start scheduling people off. Now my conundrum is that I have to get these 2 weeks off in May to take my grandma to Europe with my parents before she, you know, passes away. And I needed to know if I could have this time off weeks ago but here I am, having my whole family wait on ME cause of my work's nutty policy.
I'll probably quit if I can't get the time off... or just call in sick from across the pond when I'm over there haha
