Doin thangs...
Yesterday was a celebration thing for one of my line brothers that is moving to Atlanta this week. Went to Cheesecake Bistro with a few of his close associates, and proceeded to this lil club called Reggies.
Cheesecake Bistro was nice, but a lil overpriced I think. I only really got an appetizer, a drink, and a piece of cheesecake. Ive had better spinach and artichoke dip. The Mojito was NICE. Hawaiian cheesecake is lush. The people who were there talked so much, and I wasnt really in their lil circle, so I sat and listened. Girls say the darndest things!
Reggies was interesting. Now, ive been there once or twice in my past. Once, I went to the bar next door, and walking by I looked inside Reggies and noticed a confederate flag on the wall. Was it there the first two times I went? I dunno, but I think I'd remember if it was, right? So after seeing it on the wall that time, I was like, "whelp, not goin there anymore." So I wasnt too thrilled when they said they were going last night, but I sucked it up and went anyway. It was free, and they had these cheap kool-aid ass 25 cent shots. After ohhhhhhh 9 or so rounds of shots and nothing potent, I called it a night and wished my LB well on his way to ATL.
That same LB hipped me to this other bar with the greatest Wednesday nights ever. 5 bucks to get in, with 1 dollar drinks. And these aint no kool-aid drinks. Im talkin crown and coke that tastes like crown, lol. Drunk off 8 or 9 bucks is definitely a five star event!! Whats bonus is that they play about 70% black music, so the place is tolerable.
I need to be doing homework.
